Location, Directions and Parking...

[ Plastic Ivy, 33 Leeds Road, Dewsbury, South Leeds, WF12 7BB]

The building looks scruffy and closed from the outside but don't let that put you off. It's a discreet industrial building that has a sign across the front, which merely says "33". There's no need to knock, just come straight through the black door into the lobby where one of our staff will greet you.

BY TRAIN OR BUS...

We are also just 8 minutes walk from Dewsbury train & bus stations. Direct trains from Leeds to Dewsbury take 11 minutes, with a frequency of 3-4 trains an hour. On your first visit from the train station, instead of walking it may be easier using the station taxi firm to 33 Leeds Rd, Dewsbury. and costs just £3

We are just outside Dewsbury town centre on the A653 Leeds Road. This is just a 5 minute drive from the M62-J28 and the M1-J40, making us easily accessible within 20 minutes drive of Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield & Barnsley, and to those passing on the M1 or M62 looking for a quick stop off.

WHERE BEST TO PARK...

Below is a map of where we recommend to park.

  • The blue lines are free parking areas all day. Be sure to avoid the pockets of residential permit-only sections along Battye St, however these can be parked on too any day after 6.30pm.

  • If the lined areas are full, we recommend the large secure Cliffe Street council car park (WF13 1RD) 3 minutes walk away from Plastic Ivy, which is Free parking all day Sunday, or costs as little as £1 for 3 hours and is accessed from Sharp St or Eastborough Cres.

  • The green lines on the map are public parking bays that are free all day Sunday, or Mon-Sat after 5pm. Before that it is free parking for one hour. It is extremely rare that the town centre ticket attendants will walk that far out of town twice to see if someone has overstayed an hour when it is usually empty there most days. However we would not be held responsible in the unlikely a ticket is given.

We advise customers not to park on Charles Street on the other side of the road of the sauna, as this road is narrow and double parking can prevent emergency vehicles and bin lorries from getting through.
